Founded in 2001, Abbingdon Music Research (AMR) is the high- end sister company to iFi. AMR first introduced its acclaimed ‘77’ series in 2006, followed by the more accessible ‘777’ series in 2010.
At a time when digital audio was often dismissed as ‘sterile’ and ‘lifeless’, AMR earned recognition for delivering rich, analogue- inspired sound through innovative and unconventional circuit design. By combining cutting-edge engineering with timeless musicality, AMR has remained dedicated to one mission: Achieving the best sound possible.
